Status: No longer supported.
Features introduced[edit]
The following new features were introduced with Oracle 3:
- Atomic execution of SQL statements and transactions (COMMIT and ROLLBACK of transactions)
- Nonblocking queries (no more read locks)
- Re-written in the C-programming language
